If you knew you only had one week left to live, what would you do? Would you write a letter to your children to let them know how much you love them? Would you do something crazy or go somewhere you've never been? What would you do?
At this time last year my sister only had one week left to live. I've wondered what she would have done if she knew? Since an answer to this question isn't possible, I've come up with an image of her in my mind. I see my sister on the beaches of Hawaii in a straw hat laying on the beach with a pina colada in one hand and a book in the other. Erica told her girls she would take them to Hawaii and she loved to read. So, this image somehow comforts me.
What would I do if I only had a week to live? I would go to Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Flordia. What would you do?

I would definitely just try to clear as much chaos as possible, so the time left with my family and my friends was filled with what I want remembered for, my love and God's love and peace. I would want to take my kiddos walking through the mud barefoot somewhere along a creek to show them that there is an escape from this hectic life and all of the hustle and bustle. I would want to take them on top of an outlook so they can take in all God's beauty so they can see beyond all the hurt and anguish that is felt everyday while we live here on earth. I would want to take them on a picnic, so they can eat and realize how lucky they are to have nourishment and remind them to always work hard for their families to be providers. Lastly, I would want to take time to read parts of the Bible and pray with them, so that they know they have an encourager here when they feel like everyone else has deserted them. God is always there for us when no one else is. It would be a lot to take care of in a week, but that would be my last job here on Earth and oh what an important one.
